Helping the Monastery
Donations enable us to do what our work alone cannot. They help keep our Veilaudio service to the blind and visually impaired going, they help fund our internet outreach, and they are an essential part of our strategy for growth. Without your help, we cannot admit people to the novitiate nor hope to obtain a permanent home for the community and its guests. Every penny counts, so please don't think you can't help because you can only afford to give a little. You can make donations as follows:
- one-off donations, either by cheque or online
- regular standing orders in favour of the monastery or by payroll giving
- legacies after death.
Charity Choice Online Donations
UK donors can also donate securely online using the monastery's Charity Choice Online Donation Service. Charity Choice accepts all major credit and debit cards and will also deal with Gift Aid for you. This is our preferred option.Donors from overseas can also make donations using Charity Choice but there may be more tax-efficient ways of giving: please see below.
Cheques
Cheques should be made payable to Holy Trinity Monastery and sent to Howton Grove Priory, 1-2 Howton Grove Barns, Wormbridge, Herefordshire, HR2 9DY.If you are a UK taxpayer, please download and complete the accompanying Gift Aid declaration as that will enable us to reclaim the tax you have paid and substantially increases the value of your gift .
U.S. Donors
If you are an American tax payer, we hope shortly to be linking to CAFAmerica so that your donations can be made tax-efficiently: please register your interest here. In the meantime, if you donate by check, the cancelled check should be enough of itself for you to claim the tax-break.Paypal Online Donations
We regret we are unable to accept Paypal donations. Please use Charity Choice instead (credit/debit cards) or send a cheque/postal order made payable to Holy Trinity Monastery. We are investigating alternatives to Paypal.Standing Orders and Payroll Giving
Please contact the monastery if you would like to give more regularly, either by way of a Standing Order or Payroll giving.Loans
You can also help by lending the monastery money. Please get in touch if you think you could help in this way.Legacies
If you are not in a position to contribute at the moment, you may like to consider leaving a bequest or legacy in the future. Full details are available from the monastery.Painless Giving
